SUMMARY:CANCELED: No Kings | VOTE EARLY Giant Human Letters
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT UPDATE: NO KINGS VOTE EARLY ST. PETE IS CANCELLED DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS. \n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, Mother Nature has made the decision for us!  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAfter weighing our options\, we made the difficult decision to cancel this event. Your safety is of our utmost concern.  \n\n\n\nWe considered postponing until later in the day\, but if you’ve ever been to the beach after a rain shower\, you know it can quickly become a steamy\, hot mess! We also considered moving the event to Sunday\, that would mean missing the national No Kings day of action.  \n\n\n\nThere are still opportunities to come together! \n\n\n\n North Pinellas Indivisible is holding a rain-or-shine event at 9 AM in Clearwater on the Duke Energy Trail Overpass over US 19 and Frontage Road. Please check the weather before heading out\, as morning thunderstorms are also forecast for that area. \n\n\n\n Register for the Clearwater/North Pinellas Event: https://mobilize.us/s/mw9r6t \n\n\n\n Ybor Indivisible in Tampa is planning an event at 4 PM\, with clear skies in the forecast. We’ve also heard whispers of another nearby event happening earlier in the day that’s been generating quite a buzz. You may want to do a little internet exploring to see what’s up.  \n\n\n\n Register for Ybor Tampa Event: https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/1048531/ \n\n\n\nTo see all of the No Kings events\, please visit: https://www.nokings.org/ \n\n\n\nTo all our volunteers and supporters: thank you. So many people have devoted hours of hard work\, planning\, and preparation to make No Kings Vote Early St. Pete possible. We do not make this decision lightly\, and we know how disappointing it is to have to cancel. \n\n\n\nPlease remember why we came together in the first place: to share voter information\, help people understand their voting options\, and encourage early voting. Those goals don’t disappear because one event does. \n\n\n\nWe may have to cancel a gathering\, but we can keep moving forward with the work that matters. \n\n\n\nPlease stay safe\, stay involved\, stay patriotic\, and VOTE EARLY!
