DESCRIPTION:Candidates for St. Pete Beach Mayor and City Commissioner for District 3 will appear at a Candidate Forum\, hosted by the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area and the Pinellas Beaches Chamber of Commerce. \n\n\n\nThe Candidate Forum will provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the issues that matter most to the St. Pete Beach community ahead of the upcoming election\, which is scheduled for March 10\, 2026. Voters will be invited to submit questions both in advance of the forum and during the event. Submit questions ahead of time here. \n\n\n\nThe forum is free and open to the public. We’ll hit local shops and cafés to share educational materials and QR codes that make it easy for people to learn about current reproductive health legislation\, contact their elected representatives\, and take action to protect reproductive freedom. \n\n\n\nThis is about meeting voters where they are — supporting local businesses while helping community members understand how access to contraception\, abortion care\, maternal health\, and fertility services affects personal freedom and participation in democracy. No prior advocacy experience is needed; all materials and talking points are provided. \n\n\n\nWe’ll walk\, talk\, and connect — and yes\, we’ll also stop for coffee\, beer\, mocktails\, or whatever fuels your civic engagement along the way. Because protecting reproductive rights is serious work\, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun while we do it! \n\n\n\nCome help the League make reproductive freedom visible\, accessible\, and actionable in our community. \n\n\n\nThis event replaces our regularly scheduled February meeting. \n\n\n\n\n\n		RSVP Here
