Friday evenings through Aug. 10th – join us in neighborhood canvassing with the local Not My Son initiative which seeks to promote positive achievement and anti-crime awareness among African-American youth in south side neighborhoods. For more information and meet up location (which changes weekly), click here. It’s a powerful experience and a great way for us to build relationships in the south side community… just show up, you’ll be briefed, matched up with a police officer & other volunteers and head out to canvas for an hour.
