Following the screening, speakers will reflect on their own experience with gun violence and facilitate a conversation with participants.

  • National Popular Vote ~ Let's Talk!

    Join your local League of Women Voters to hear how the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact promotes the direct election of the president by popular vote. The NPVIC preserves the electoral system while guaranteeing that the votes of all Americans count. This compact will take effect only when signed by state representing 270 electoral votes; at present, 12 states with 172 electoral votes have agreed to the compact.

    The public is invited to attend this important information session.
