Sustainability Action Team – Environmental Issues

We believe in local action and advocacy that has a global impact.

The steps you take today to make St. Pete and the surrounding towns cleaner and more environmentally friendly can have ripple effects across the world. Other cities and governments can follow our lead, and our collective contributions can protect our planet and people everywhere.

The Sustainability Action Team works to educate our members and the public on personal steps that will reduce waste and decrease our carbon footprint.  We advocate for better policies and practices at the local and state level. We support coalitions of other environmental groups in St. Pete to multiply our efforts, reach and effectiveness.

Your LWVSPA Sustainability Action Team needs your help to achieve its goals!
