Sustainability Action Team – Environmental Issues

We believe in local action and advocacy that has a global impact.

The steps you take today to make St. Pete and the surrounding towns cleaner and more environmentally friendly can have ripple effects across the world. Other cities and governments can follow our lead, and our collective contributions can protect our planet and people everywhere.

The Sustainability Action Team supports the St. Petersburg area in its ongoing efforts to plan strategically for the environmental needs of the future and educate the public about those needs. The League has long supported issues related to the environment, and this group offers evolving outlets for those who wish to plan for and protect our community resources.

Your LWVSPA Sustainability Action Team needs your help to achieve its goals!
