THE FREEDOM TO VOTE: VOTER RIGHTS, ACCESS AND CHOICES

April 13, 2021 @ 6:30 pm 7:30 pm

Hundreds of bills that will make it harder to vote are making their way through state legislatures around the country right now, including here in Florida. And this is happening even though Florida just saw one of its most successful elections in recent history.

So what do these bills mean for us as voters? If they pass, how will they impact our choices and access when it comes to voting? And how can we make our voices heard on this issue?

We’ll discuss these subjects and more at “The Freedom to Vote: Voter Rights, Choices and Access,” a live streamed, online panel discussion featuring panelists Pinellas County Supervisor Julie Marcus and League of Women Voters of Florida President Patti Brigham and moderated by Stephanie Owens, founder of Women Talk Black.

Registration is required. You can submit a question for the panelists ahead of time when you register to attend. You’ll be emailed a link to join the Zoom webinar after you register.
