How to Submit a Cream of the Crop Nomination

Greetings, Board Members and Team Leads

Beth Settle here from the Membership Committee. Deciding to nominate your top volunteer for a month’s “Cream of the Crop” volunteer recognition is relatively easy, but it does entail some forethought.

Your Superstar volunteer or volunteers don’t need to be able to scale tall buildings in a single bound, nor do they need to come up with a cure for Covid, and they don’t even need to perform superhuman feats of strength to earn our recognition and thanks.

There really isn’t anything too small that our volunteers do for the League. However, there’s always that one or two volunteers who stick out and who you can always count on. That’s who you should nominate as a “Cream of the Crop” volunteer.

How do you do it? It’s easy. Simply choose the volunteer or volunteers who you would like to publicly recognize for their exceptional service during the month. We want to know what the volunteer or volunteers did, and why you chose to recognize them.

All nominees will be recognized in the League’s newsletter, The Voter, and receive a hand-written thank you note.

Of course like everything in this world this information is time sensitive, so please send it to me by the 25th of this month for publication in the next month’s issue of The Voter.
