LWVSPA supports the Florida Constitutional Article IX that establishes the foundation for a uniform, efficient, safe, secure and high-quality public education system for all children.

Education Action Team Goals

• Educate the public and LWVSPA Membership on current issues and research in K-12 Education
• Advocate for high quality public education for all children
• Work with the League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County on Pinellas education Issues 
• Support the League of Women Voters of Florida’s Education Goals

Education Action Team Activities

• Meet monthly with LWVNPC Education Committee
• Establish Peer-to-Peer Voter Registration in Pinellas County High Schools
• Attend Pinellas County School’s School Board Meetings
• Participate on LWVFL Education Committee
• Communicate to LWVSPA membership key K-12 Education Issues
