Join the St. Petersburg League of Women Voters’ Reproductive Rights Action Team for the second monthly virtual panel discussion. This month will feature Dr. Lara Hart and Michelle Grimsley Shindano.

Dr. Hart is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist practicing in Georgia. Dr. Hart will discuss the impact of Georgia’s abortion ban, including stories of her own patients who nearly lost their own lives as well as their pregnancies, due to confusion surrounding these bans.

Michelle Grimsley, Director of Public Policy with Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates will discuss Florida’s version of a near total abortion ban and its impacts, particularly on Planned Parenthood health centers. She will also offer an update on the Yes on 4 campaign.
