This local LWV call to action on May 1 mirrors our national organization’s stance. LWVUS has sounded the alarm: our country is in a full-on constitutional crisis. The foundational principles that have sustained our democracy — checks and balances, the rule of law, free and fair elections — are under direct and sustained attack. Let’s go, St. Petersburg!

This is a VISIBILITY EVENT to be staged on I-275 overpasses in St. Petersburg. We are asking that folks commit to a specific overpass on the registration form so that we can try to keep safe numbers in each location.
