CANCELED: No Kings | VOTE EARLY Giant Human Letters
Updated 10/16/26 @ 12:30 PM
IMPORTANT UPDATE: THE SATURDAY 10/17 NO KINGS VOTE EARLY ST. PETE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature has made the decision for us!
After weighing our options, we made the difficult decision to cancel this event. Your safety is of our utmost concern.
We considered postponing until later in the day, but if you’ve ever been to the beach after a rain shower, you know it can quickly become a steamy, hot mess! We also considered moving the event to Sunday, that would mean missing the national No Kings day of action.
There are still opportunities to come together!
North Pinellas Indivisible is holding a rain-or-shine event at 9 AM in Clearwater on the Duke Energy Trail Overpass over US 19 and Frontage Road. Please check the weather before heading out, as morning thunderstorms are also forecast for that area.

Ybor Indivisible in Tampa is planning an event at 4 PM, with clear skies in the forecast. We’ve also heard whispers of another nearby event happening earlier in the day that’s been generating quite a buzz. You may want to do a little internet exploring to see what’s up.

To all our volunteers and supporters: thank you. So many people have devoted hours of hard work, planning, and preparation to make No Kings Vote Early St. Pete possible. We do not make this decision lightly, and we know how disappointing it is to have to cancel.
Please remember why we came together in the first place: to share voter information, help people understand their voting options, and encourage early voting. Those goals don’t disappear because one event does.
We may have to cancel a gathering, but we can keep moving forward with the work that matters.
Please stay safe, stay involved, stay patriotic, and VOTE EARLY!
