League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area To Co-Host Pinellas County School Board Candidates: Monday June 29
Candidates for Pinellas County School Board will appear at a candidate forum on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. Pinellas County School Board Districts 2, 3, 6 & 7 are up for election this year. As of 6/3/26, Districts 3 & 6 are contested, and District 2 & 7 are uncontested. The candidate qualifying end date is June 12th.
The forum, hosted by the Pinellas County Council of PTAs in partnership with the Education Committee of the League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County and the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area, will take place at the SPC Seminole Campus in the Digitorium, located at 9200 113th St. N., Seminole, FL 33772. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. The Forum runs from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Parking is free. No registration required.
The candidate forum will provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the issues that matter most to Pinellas County voters ahead of the upcoming election, scheduled for August 18, 2026. Voters are invited to submit questions both in advance of the forum and during the event. Submit questions ahead of time to: candidates@pccpta.org
Local media personality Al Ruechel will moderate the candidate forum.
All candidate forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters follow a nonpartisan, unbiased, and impartial format, in keeping with League principles.
The forum is free and open to the public. The event will be recorded by the League. Other than registered Press, no other recordings will be allowed.
