The League’s Stance on Reproductive Rights
The League of Women Voters St. Petersburg Area’s Reproductive Rights Action Team is dedicated to protecting and expanding reproductive freedom in our community. Our work spans education, advocacy, and direct support, ensuring that every person has the knowledge, resources, and access they need to make decisions about their own body and future.
We bring this mission to life through community events, trainings, and advocacy efforts that connect people to both information and action. From creative fundraisers and book discussions to clinic escorting, voter engagement, and partnerships with organizations like the Tampa Bay Abortion Fund, our team works to meet immediate needs while building long-term change. We aim to be both a hub for reliable resources and a welcoming space for those ready to get involved—whether by volunteering, supporting patients, joining an event, or simply learning more about how reproductive rights affect us all.
