The League’s Stance on Social Justice
We believe in secure equal rights and equal opportunity for all. We promote social and economic justice and the health and safety of all Americans.
The Social Justice Team invites the public to engage in and become more educated on the prescient issues of the day. We seek to expand the imagined possibilities of progress for all people and voices. We advocate safe, open-minded discussions in the community around the intersections of economics, history, politics, privilege, and race.
Currently, we have subteams working on:
- Community Centered Development
- Immigration

The Social Justice Team invites the public to engage in and become more educated on the prescient social justice issues of the day.
- Attend our meetings on the first Thursday of every month to meet other passionate advocates and talk about social and racial justice readings. We will alternate between virtual and in-person meetings.

- Read past calls to action (9/17/25, 8/7/25 and 7/11/25) to learn about the kinds of issues we are working on.
